Entering the Club’s Group Exhibitions
Register
One time only: before a member can enter any work into a Club exhibition, a Blanket Agreement Form must be filled out (both sides, signed by an Art Committee member; available from the Art Committee). This form gives the Club general permission to show your work.
In addition, a separate Exhibition Submission Form must be completed for each work entered (read on).
Entering work in an exhibition at the Club
Please note: while the Club is still adapting to changing Covid regulations, we are happy to say that exhibitions are now on the walls again and intakes are in person.
The usual hours of intake for exhibitions are Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with jurying beginning on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. This can change from exhibition to exhibition, so please check the LAMPSletter and E-Bulletins for details of specific exhibitions.
The Submission form may be picked up at the Club, or downloaded from the website.
PLEASE NOTE: IF IT APPEARS IN A WINDOW AFTER DOWNLOADING, THE FILLABLE FIELDS WILL NOT BE VISIBLE. TO SEE THE FIELDS, SAVE THE FILE AND OPEN IT ON YOUR COMPUTER. Fill it in. Save the filled in form to your computer, and print. Printed forms are also available through the office and at the table during intake.
Please also read
for information about entering and hanging work.
1. You will need one form for each work.
2. Fill it in on-line or in pen. Print the online form and sign.
3. Arrive at the Club with the forms completed and ready to be given their tag number.
4. When the work is received for jurying, you will receive the receipt tag, complete with number. If the work is accepted or rejected the tag number is the constant.
Picking up work at the end of an exhibition
Ideally you will be able to pick up the work on the day it is taken down.
To avoid loss and confusion, staff in the Bar or Office cannot release the work without a signature in the green binder. To pick up your work at any other time, please go to the office and sign for your work in the green binder. Once you have done this, your work may be released from the storage cupboard.
